Join the top interactive professionals in the Twin Cities at this pre-conference networking event (think "The Justice League" – but with less superpowers and more bacon).

We'll talk about the SXSW conference and its' anticipated impact on the local interactive scene and identify ways to keep our Minnesota friends who can't attend the conference in the loop.

One lucky attendee will win two free registrations (and many, many new "best friends"), to the 2009 SXSW Interactive Festival, so bring your business cards.

We'll also be celebrating one year of smbmsp magic (bacon + birthday cake?). So after we talk about the future, we'll take a look back on the highlights of the past year.

oh I wish I could have been there for this one. SXSW is on the bucket list to attend and now with Social Media getting involved two things I love music festivals and social media coming togehter, wow I think I found my utopia! have fun today!

Thanks for your RSVP to this Thursday's Social Media Breakfast from 8-10 a.m. at Aloft Hotel (900 Washington Avenue South, Mpls.) We're looking forward to seeing you there to celebrate SMB's one year anniversary and discuss SXSW interactive -- things like: who's going? How should we represent MSP at this national conference? Who's blogging/tweeting/recording what sessions? Who's bringing back what info to share with the community?

Aloft is located on the corner of Washington Avenue South and Ninth Avenue South. There is street parking available as well as a parking ramp, accessible from Ninth Avenue. We'll be meeting in the conference rooms located on the street level. Continental breakfast, complete with bacon, will be served.

Mitchell, you don't have be attending SXSW to come to the meeting on Thursday. You just have to be interested in knowing what'll be going on down there. And we promise not to serve anything illegal to minors...
